Portland's Oven and Shaker is a popular dining destination for locals and visitors who crave artisan pizzas and unique bar drinks served in a warm and inviting setting. The nettle pesto arancino rice ball made with parmesan risotto and mushrooms and the fried calamari and octopus fritto misto with lemon and honey make stunning starters. My friend and I shared the roasted beet salad and the Pearl pizza. Both were excellent and arrived quickly. We were surprised that our bill was so low! We'll definitely go back again. There were lots of other things we wanted to try.

The service was great, music way too loud, pizza tasty but we both wished the crust had been more well done. It was a bit too floppy/ soggy. Our server was top- notch!

Our pepperoni pizza was delicious, one of the best I have had. I loved the ambience of the place and our server was particularly friendly and attentive. The high tables and stools give the place a different and fun vibe compared to other pizza places. The place seems more geared to young (and old) adults than to families with children, which made for more pleasant dining.

The pizzas are very good and mixed with the ambiance it’s excellent for a really nice place to get a really nice pizza and drink where you can also talk to each other.
