Pampas is truly a steakhouse experience unlike any other. Since 2002, Pampas Steakhouse has been proudly serving the Atlanta community. Our menu offers authentic Argentine cuisine along with your favorite fine-dining steakhouse classics. Our chefs utilize the traditional Argentine method of grilling à la parrilla over oak wood and a bank of hot coals. Pampas has an extensive wine list featuring the finest wines from Argentina and Napa Valley, as well as from everywhere in the world.

As a sign of respect for fellow guests, everyone is encouraged to dress for the occasion. We had a reservation for 7pm. We were taken to our table and left there with the menus on hand for a while before anyone even came to get our drink order. Drinks: My sister ordered a specialty smokie spicy margarita...The taste of the margarita was very good, and the drink was well balanced. I was taking medication, so I ordered a sparkling water; when the server came to refill my glass, he poured still water. Our main server---who had given me the glass---was nowhere to be found. Another waitress came back with a fresh glass an explained that I was given the wrong glass. Our main server only came to our table twice in a the 50-minute window from the time we ordered to the time it took for them to bring out the appetizers. The first time was about 15 minutes after my sister order the margarita to let her know the bar was backed-up. The second time was about 25 minutes later, and only because I gave a look telling her to come over, so that I could ask her for the status of our appetizers. Appetizers: The beef carpaccio was absolutely delicious. The empandas were good but nothing extraordinary...I would not order them again. The waitress did not come to check on us after appetizers were served. We also ordered a lobster bisque to go, and my sister said that it was very enjoyable. Main entry: Food arrived shortly after appetizers; we ordered the Brick (medium rare) and the lobster mac and cheese. The Brick was overcooked...again our main server was MIA, I called another waitress, and she got the manager for me, who was very nice and brought us another Brick (almost immediately) that was perfectly cooked. The mac and cheese was very good as well, although it did not have much lobster but it had shells. Overall, the food was very good, but saying that the service was below par, is an understatement and with all the fine-dining steak restaurants in the Alpharetta/Atlanta area with outstanding services, I'm not compelled to come back to Pampas.

As a regular at Pampas for over a decade, dining there 34 times. I genuinely enjoy the food here and often recommend it, with the caveat that, since the pandemic, service quality can be inconsistent. Unfortunately, last night's experience left a lot to be desired. The food itself, as always, shined in many ways. The Porterhouse was outstanding—the best strip and filet we've had, with great sides, especially the basil fried corn. But a few items didn’t quite meet expectations. The Provoleta, usually served as a firm slice with thoughtful garnishes, arrived more like a cheese dip, overly oily and somewhat bland. The Mollejas were still flavorful but came in a smaller portion with chimichurri pre-applied and no lemon, a bit different from what we were used to. The main issue, however, was the service. From the start, it felt hurried and, at times, dismissive. We received an eye-roll when we asked for sparkling water instead of still, and the server was notably impatient while we looked over the wine list, coming back repeatedly for our drink orders before we’d had a chance to decide. Drinks took a while to arrive, and one cocktail was incorrect, which led to an awkward moment while the runner double-checked our request. The meat presentation, a highlight for many, was rushed. The server held the platter high and spoke so quickly that only someone familiar with the process could follow. When asked to lower the platter so we could see, his curt response was disappointing. Throughout the evening, there was a sense of being rushed at each stage, from the initial drink order to taking our meal choices, which the server asked for several times before we’d had a chance to look over the menu. When it came time for the check, the server disappeared for an extended period, leaving us to wait for about half an hour before anyone could take our payment. I hope this feedback is constructive for the management, as Pampas used to offer a consistently wonderful dining experience.

Unfortunately, service was off last night. Under staffed from what we were told. First time this has been the case and hopefully the last. We love dining at this groups restaurants.
