Pamplemousse on the Bay is located within the recently remodeled Southgate Towers in South Beach.
We created with this unique waterfront location an upscale Fish, Seafood and Steakhouse restaurant like never seen before in South Beach with one of the kind beach design, open kitchen, and Mediterranean garden on the patio.

Emphasis of lights, textures, a selection of designer’s furniture have been the main focus of the entire project to give Pamplemousse on the Bay a unique personality.

The place is well located, the service is good but the prices are not justified by the food. I would like this place to find a better balance between being a trendy restaurant and attract locals It is not there yet.

Avons quitté l’établissement 1h30 après notre arrivée sans avoir mangé alors que nous étions avec un enfant. Personne ne s’est occupé de nous. Le lieu avait l’air chouette… scandaleux et très décevant !

Upon settling the bill, the waiter quickly showed me the items we ordered. I asked the waiter if the service charge is already included as it was not clear to me (did not see the percentage but barely the amount) … he said yes but only 10% so at the end when signing the bill, I added more… turned out the service charge was already 20% (saw it later when I got the detailed bill by text). I would have kept the service charge at 20% if I knew it was already there.

Overall was good, besides the fire alarm that kept going off and destroyed the atmosphere. Will be back for happy hour and ladies night.

We had a wonderful time at Pamplemousse the two times we went there. Once for dinner, very nice service great food, and super ambience not too pompous very relaxed atmosphere and a sunset view to die for. another time for brunch this was the most delicious brunch I’ve ever had !!! The brulee toast was wonderful as well as the eggs Benedict ! Bottomless mimosas were excellent!

Location is rnice Menu is average and the only thing I really wants to try was out of stock(we were 1 of 4 parties that evening, I doubt they’d ran out of it). Miami Beach pricing. Service was half decent, one of our items was wrong. The service assistant did a better job than the waitress. Nice decor. Food was blend in flavor, out of temperature (cold was warm and hot was cold, steak overcooked), a bit generic nothing special,the dessert was their best item. I was impressed with the flavor of the mocktails, really close to the real thing. I would go back for the view and the mocktails
