   This food was bland! I took my mother for a Mother’s Day lunch and we were not impressed at all. $17 for 2 Tacos that were bland was not good. We got the Birria and the meat was bland and even worse the beef dipping sauce was flavourless. We also got the pork tacos and they were better but I’d not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Fonda Lola in Queen is around the corner and is way better.

   We went because of the high star review on Google but honestly, I wouldn't recommend it... The ambience was nice, service was good but the food was not, nor were the drinks. The margarita was mostly just lime juice and when we kindly asked for another with less lime, the bartender literally shot dagger eyes at our table.. the tacos had good falvour but don't sit well. Do not get the ceviche-- the chips were greasy and the shrimp was very.. hard/tough.

   We arrived on a rainy Tuesday evening and there was a line-up outside, although we arrived 30 minutes early the hostess was nice enough to seat us as a table was wrapping up. The Holiday decorations were extraordinary however this was a very very cramped space, the washrooms were also extremely tiny and was hard to move around especially with large coats and bags. The food was just okay, we went with the server's recommendations on apps the corn was good just not a fan of the amount of feta on top and the nachos were pretty good just wish the toppings were a bit layered, birria tacos were not very flavourful but the chicken tacos were great. As for drinks we ordered the Seasonal special mistletoe and my husband had the spicy marg which were both extremely bitter!! Our server was very nice and brought simple syrup twice as the drink had maybe wayyyy too much lime in it. All in all, it's a great place for pictures but I can imagine weekends being very rushed, although they have a 90-minute window if you come on a weekday, you should be okay (we were not kicked out). Not sure that I would come again though as the prices were pretty high and I've had better Mexican food and drinks in Mississauga/Niagara Falls.

   It was okay not worth the hype and it was annoying that you felt a clock timer being started the minute you get in one reminder is okay it having to be told every 20 mins your time made it unpleasant It was an okay experience

   This place is a cute place to take pictures and everything, but the size it is so small. We sat in the back corner and it was super small and tight. Our server was extremely rude, and not there to what we requested. We were fed false information about dishes at well. We had about an hour and a half of eating time, and it took us half an hour to get our orders taken for food. Overall we felt rushed, it was loud, crammed, and the food was mid

   Incredible! We went for the margaritas & mistletoe’s, it was such a fun ambiance!! Service was excellent. Food was decently tasty. It was very very nice experience.

   This isn’t my first time coming to Papi Chulos but I was quite disappointed when I dined last night. The restaurant was half full yet my table had difficulty getting our server to assist us with ordering anything and she would spend large amounts of time by the drink stand talking to her other coworker. The food itself was quite good and the server assistant/busser was super sweet but in the future I’ll probably just go to Fonda Lola or somewhere else nearby. Birria was great though xx

    Hello Food. Really lacked flavour - guacamole was not great - served in a paper cup. The chips that went with it were amazing I had a fish taco and there was almost no fish and the taco was stale. Serving everything on plastic or paper isn’t ideal. Service - the staff was very pleasant however we had to ask several times for more things. Drinks - disappointment- they use syrup in their drinks - I think using fresh lime makes more sense in an authentic Mexican restaurant Overall disappointing as it has great reviews and I had been in the past And liked it
