The restaurant was a great experience. Staff was very friendly. The food and drinks were to die for. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

More of a nightclub than a restaurant. If that’s the vibe you’re going for, it’s great! Service was slow but food was pretty good, despite the nightclub vibe.

Seriously, we had The BEST time here celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday! First off the service was top notch, the food was amazing, literally we loved everything we ordered! The tuna tartar was one of the best I’ve ever had, the BELLY DANCER, the DJ, the ambiance! I felt like I was in Greece! Could not have picked a better place! Definitely exceeded expectations and I can’t wait to come back again! Hidden gem!

A Dangerous Oversight I had a reservation for three at Pappas last week, but what should have been a great meal turned into a medical emergency due to negligence. Our server never asked about food allergies, even though one of my friends has severe allergies to nuts and sesame. We ordered the grilled octopus, unaware it was served on hummus. My friend took a bite of the purée and immediately began having an allergic reaction. Hummus typically contains tahini (which has sesame), but when we asked our server about the ingredients, he insisted there was no sesame and even suggested my friend had “developed a new allergy.” As her reaction worsened, she kept running to the restroom, yet no one on staff checked in on us. After paying, we waited near the entrance for an Uber to take her to urgent care. At one point, she had to rush back to the restroom, visibly unwell, and still, no one offered help—not even to hold the door as we struggled to get her outside. At urgent care, her reaction escalated into anaphylactic shock, and she had to be rushed to the ER. Desperate for ingredient confirmation, we called the restaurant, and only after pressing them did they admit the hummus contained tahini. This restaurant’s lack of communication and concern was unacceptable. Food allergies are serious, and their negligence put my friend’s life in danger. If you or someone you dine with has allergies, I wouldn’t recommend this place—no meal is worth that risk.

Genuinely such a disappointing experience! I feel bad because the wait staff was trying their best but we waited over 30 min each time for our drinks and they were either wrong or forgotten! They were kind and comped because they felt bad and were obviously trying to make the experience okay but it truely was just not lived up to the hype! There were no dancing on tables and we saw the belly dancer once and that was it!

First I want to say the ambiance was spectacular down to the dancers and DJ. The food was ok could have been better or they should have better choice sides the place overall was great experience expect for one thing the waiter. When me and my friends got there we where seated and the waiter Norilk came to use took our order but that was it for the night he never came back until we had to run him down to come back to our table. Waiter Norilk went to the table beside us and the table infront of us multiples times without them calling to him to check on them and ask them how is the mood and how is everything going. I am the bday girl please note I went to take pictures downstairs for 30 mins and when I came back up my fren told me the waiter hasn’t come back to our table and I wanted to order a drink with my food. Finally waiter Norilk walked passed our table went to the next table beside us and ask them if they are good passed us again went to the table infront of us and ask if they are good too. I saw the motion I called him over he look miserable and I asked him in a nice way did he forget about us this man shouted, “I am very busy anyway what you want.” I looked at him and said I am good. I was about to order a bottle of champagne and my desert cake for my table but because of his rudeness I decide not to and it broke my vybe and mood just wanted the check and leave. Waiter Norilk was very rude and didn’t have any good customer service ethic towards us and Pappas need to look into this because NYC is a very diverse city all sort of ppl come there to eat and enjoy Resturant not only Greek ppl. Thank you

Friday night festivities were a lot of fun. However, the cocktails are incredibly overpriced. So was dinner. Even for New York. But I guess if you consider you’re getting dinner and a show it’s worth it. Will not be back for the food, but for the fun.

The food was delicious, servers were nice but I was highly annoyed that there were no live entertainment as advertised on both the website and Instagram. I mainly chose that restaurant because of it and it was my mom’s birthday.
