   The ambience was great. The food was so so. The service was not the best. Food came out scattered, items were missing or behind. Probably worth another try but wasn’t overly impressed.

   The food was OK, nothing exceptional. The prices overall were not bad for what you received. The service was rushed, as we were finishing our appetizer when the main meal arrived. I tried to be nice and tell the manager, who was attentive and making the table rounds, and he suggested that I should have told the waiter ahead of time or not ordered the appetizer and entree at the same time. The restaurant was not at all crowded, so the theory I had to get ahead of having a rushed meal did not occur to me, nor do I think a restaurant should default to bringing out your meal while you are eating your appetizer. A simple apology would have avoided my desire to make this comment.

   Buena comida griega, buena atención por parte de la mesera. Los mejillones al limón muy ricos pero les falto un poco mas de caldo para disfrutarlos mas. Las cotillas de cordero y el pulpo deliciosos. El empanada de espinaca un poco seca. Recomiendo no ir a la hora cercana al cierre porque te sirven todo junto y yo no pudimos ni pedir postre.

   The food at Parea was quite good. The bar was extensive, but there are no beers on tap, which surprised me. They need to turn the music down, as it was difficult to talk during dinner.

   The service was fantastic, no mistakes on the order, the manager and hostess came over to check on us. The food was amazing...I highly recommend it.

   Definitely recommend and will go back to enjoy Parea Greed Taverna again. The food and service, as well as the special drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) great. The Greek Old Fashioned with walnut bitters and honey instead of sugar has changed the way I think about Old Fashioned's. Despite being very busy, the service was very good. Attentive, helpful and made the whole experience that much better. The only reason for not rating the food as "excellent" was because the Yemista, peppers stuffed with beef and lamb, were too "soupy", which may be how they are supposed to be, but she was somewhat disappointed. However, she definitely wants to return. Tried the triple hummus plate and all three types of hummus were very good also. Very glad we found another restaurant we will go back to enjoy more than once.

   This was our first time at Parea and it definitely won’t be our last! We’ve been to their sister restaurant Bosphorous many, many times and now we will be frequenting Parea as well. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious appetizers and entrees, plus the price point was great and very reasonable for the incredible meal we had. You have to check out this new Maitland gem!
