Parkside is a locally owned and operated Downtown Raleigh Restaurant located at the entrance of the Warehouse District. Parkside is situated on the corner of West Martin and South Dawson streets across from historic Nash Square. It was this urban park, one of the four original parks in downtown that inspired the name Parkside.

Housed at street level and under the longest running neon restaurant sign in North Carolina you will find our doors, which have been the threshold to hospitality for this neighborhood for over one hundred years. Parkside believes in continuing this tradition in every way. From the warm red brick and reclaimed barn wood clad bar to the NC solid poplar tabletops, we want our guests to feel welcome. Whether you are sampling one of our 25+ beers on tap or enjoying our chef inspired locally sourced fare, your experience is our priority.

I’ve lived in North Carolina since 2008 and I was told that this restaurant came into existence in 2016 anyhow, I’ve been by this place 100 times if not more just driving by and this was the first time that I actually had an opportunity to stop in It was a great experience great service. We had a great waiter. Food was good and as I left, I told the gentleman at the front counter that I’ll be back and I’ll be bringing some people next time.

Good dinner. Very busy, so service was slower than usual and pretty noisy.

We loved the beef stroganoff! The Ceaser salad was so yummy too! Grilled chicken wasn’t the best! Cocktails were great. Great valentine’s date overall.

Wonderful service! I have an gluten allergy and was pleasantly surprised when I ate one of the best gluten free buns I’ve had in a while. Our server was knowledgeable and very helpful when it came to menu suggestions!

Lunch was great… the staff were awesome. The prices were reasonable. All are consistent with every visit my family and friends love Parkside restaurant

Very good food; conversation friendly noise level; and Nick, our server was the BEST! Kind and super attentive. He made it his mission to make sure our party of four was well looked after. Thank you, Nick!

Usually parkside is awesome. Tonight was an off night for the food itself. My French dip sandwich was borderline horrible. I really should have sent it back. The sandwich was cold and the bread slightly stale and chewy. Additionally the roast beef itself didn’t seam freshly cooked. The entire thing was old tasting and microwave done. Just surprising as usually parkside was excellent. But this meal felt like it wasn’t worth the calories to consume.
