                                                                                                                        We saw Pasta Eater featured on YouTube and decided to give it a try on our trip to New York this past weekend. It was a fantastic experience. We had a reservation and we were seated right away, and while the space was small (it is a NYC restaurant after all!), it was very comfortable tucked against the wall. The food was sublime. We had salads, appetizers, a few drinks, and, of course, the signature pasta dish. Everything was excellent. I would definitely recommend the place to anyone who has any love of Italian cuisine. Marvelous all around!

                                                                                                                        Despite having a booking, we were made to wait outside in the cold with children for 45 mins, with the repeated promise of “just 10 mins, your table is paying.” There was a mob of people waiting to be seated. Extremely poor management of table timing and reservations. Service was very poor. The food itself was tasty. They did comp some cannolis which was appreciated. We will never return; there are many restaurants in nyc to choose from.

We’ve gone twice now and their reservations process is not the best so expect to ultimately wait 20-40 minutes regardless of your reservations time. There is no room to wait so it’s not comfortable to wait if the weather isn’t great.

Very noisy and crowded. The waiters were so busy they forgot us a few times. Received cold bread before the main meals. Came to get the cheese wheel but didn’t see it in action.

But they overbooked have no waiting area so you’re left on the sidewalk waiting in the cold, then tried to fit us at the bar. Ended up waiting 20 minutes to be seated, then rushed again because they overbooked to the point where even one of the bus boys came to the table and angrily asked us while we were eating if we were finished with our food and grab the plates honestly any other Italian places just as good and you probably will have a much better experience avoid this place at all cost
