   Unfortunately we were informed that the kitchen had closed after we had sat down and ordered our drinks. When we enquired if we could get any kind of snack we were told not until the kitchen opens again in 1hr. Not long after us a table of 6 came in and were told the same thing after they complained the server did come back to us and apologised and said we could order food but after the table of 6. I understand it is very busy with mardis gras but the booking for a meal should not have been allowed if they are going to close the kitchen for an hour. Because of the confusion and initial disappointment we decided to finish up our drinks and leave.

   French toast was delicious. Coffee was great although surprised they couldnt make a cappucino. Crawfish eggs benedict was tasty but the muffin / biscuit was cold and less than worthy of the remainder. Service was great.

    The Peacock Room is absolutely fantastic! The Jade Dragon cocktail is so tasty and unexpected! Burger - phenomenal! Love this place and it is so beautiful!
