Piazza D’Angelo is a family run Italian trattoria located in the heart of downtown Mill Valley. With a bustling bar scene and a natural light-soaked dining room, Piazza D'Angelo evokes a Southern Italian dining experience with a unique sense of home comfort.

Great night, menu varied enough to meet the needs of four picky eaters, even one who needed gluten free options. Our elderly hard of hearing member did complain later in the evening, as it got much busier, that he had a little trouble hearing. All in all wonderful food and very pleasant evening.

This was the first time my son and I have had dinner in Mill Valley. We were seated in a small room adjacent to the main dining area, under heaters that made the room too hot until we asked the server to turn the heaters off. The food was good but not great. The arugula and pear salad would have been better with a little more gorgonzola and dressing. The grilled portobello mushroom was better. My son's salmon was quite good. I wanted to order the spinach fettucine with mushrooms, but the server told me it was not vegetarian and said it could be made with spaghetti instead. Then he came back and said he had been confused about the difference between vegetarian and vegan. But in the end I still received the spaghetti, which was disappointingly plain. Our bottle of Vermentino was very nice and reasonably priced.

Portions were generous! Cesar salad could have been more flavorful. Pollo picatta, potatoes and spinach delish. Chocolate cake low on flavor. Appreciated sitting us at better table.

Fun evening at D’angelo’s with friends. The ambience was lively with a full restaurant. The service excellent, the food and beverages very good. I liked that they had a special winter menu. We’ll be back.

A wonderful dining experience. The service was impeccable. Friendly and helpful at the bar and table. The food was delicious. We had a pizza and pasta that had so much flavor. Great dining atmosphere. I would come back again as it was the perfect blend of Italian cooking and hospitality.

Wonderful service, great food, lovely ambience. We had a table right by the fire. We had a very nice leisurely dinner and didn’t feel anyone rushing us at all. I had the Branzino perfectly cooked. highly recommended.
