My mother-in-law spent hours researching spots for a holiday gift card/surprise family dinner and landed on Piccola Cucina. The unassuming Casa is tucked away on a quiet street we might not have otherwise noticed, but you are greeted with warmth the moment you open the door. From the cozy lighting, to the gentleman making fresh pasta at the bar, to the friendly staff, it was Nona’s homey perfection from start to finish. Our server Cynthia offered great menu and wine guidance as we attempted to taste it all. The prices are very reasonable versus portion size. Octopus, Branzino, Gnocchi, and Osso Bucco Agnolotti were standouts. Can’t wait to be back!

It was exactly what we wanted for our Christmas Day in New York. Would 100% recommend and would love to go back. The food was delicious and the staff were wonderful and so friendly. It was great to be able to choose from the a la carte menu as often restaurants have a set menu on Christmas Day so this was an added bonus. Thank you for a great experience.

The food was absolutely delicious, with the creamiest pastas and delicious chocolate mousse cake for dessert. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I did find the restaurant too loud, especially because it is quite small. Overall a great place!

We had a wonderful cozy evening. In fact, it’s the best restaurant experience I’ve had in a long time. From the minute we walked in, we felt well taken care of. Every single staff member was kind and attentive and accommodated a change of table with absolute graciousness. Wine recommendations were excellent. Every single dish we ordered was out of this world. Do not skip dessert. Not a single complaint. Grazie mille!

The food was so authentic and unbelievable! Quaint place but extremely cute & clean. Glad we didn’t skip this reservation. Parking is rough tho. Leave extra time to look if you drive there & have a car

The food was outstanding, as well as the service. This small restaurant is truly a gem of authentic Italian cuisine. Being gym Italy, I can assure you that when you eat here it is like eating in Italy! Can't wait to go back to this location or to try another one they have in NYC..
