Top Chef contestant Leah Cohen's Pig and Khao (68 Clinton Street) on the Lower East Side. The Southeast Asian inspired cuisine offers a variety of Thai and Filipino influences on the menu including Crispy Pata and pickled mango salad (pork shank cooked in soy sauce and five spice garnished with coriander, crispy garlic served with a secret family recipe sweet and sour liver dipping sauce), Grilled Pork Jowl and Brussels Sprouts Salad (chili lime fish sauce, shallot, herbs and toasted rice) and Crispy Pork Belly Adobo (Szechuan peppercorn, coconut vinegar, soy sauce, bay leaves, crispy garlic, scallion and soft boiled egg). Drinks range from cheap canned beer, wine, cocktails, and a self-serve bottomless tap in the backyard

I brought my husband to Pig and Khao to celebrate his birthday and I'm so glad I did! Even with two of us, we could enjoy the family-style special. The team was warm and welcoming and ensured we left full and happy. Our favorite was the sisig. We'll definitely be back!

Loved the family style option here! The food was amazing. We loved everything we ordered! The coconut rice and duck were our favorites!

Sat at the counter watching the team execute flawlessly. Excited to return to sample the dishes we weren’t able to try. Great vibe, imaginative and super intense flavors across the board. Music was cool but quiet and romantic it was not !! Super staff clearly enjoyed what they were doing

I had such a fantastic experience at Pig and Khao! They were so accommodating to our group--I had to change the reservation a few times and they were really patient with me. The service was above and beyond--they even brought my friend a delicious mocktail on the house since we were all drinking and she didn't have anything. The food was excellent and well-priced. Honestly a fantastic dining experience.

I love this restaurant. Always do the family style and get the duck. They play too much drake though

Never disappointed by the food and positive vibes. And how can all of the servers and staff be simultaneously warm and so cool at the same time? 10 out of 10. No notes.
