Pimienta Bistro and Bar is an urban fusion of Latin American cuisine. Chef Blanca Rodriguez takes great care to create a delectable piece of art for every guest, appealing to every sense.

We strive to provide exemplary service each and every visit for our guests. We invite you to our restaurant, where you will find a combination of an eclectic, rustic atmosphere that captures the best of European cuisine with a Latin American flair.

Our mission is to create something memorable with every dish we present our guests. And with every delectable plate,

we will deliver a superior service making us a stand-alone restaurant in our neighborhood.

We love our friends and neighbors from NE Tacoma, Brown’s Point and Federal Way that frequently drop by for a delicious weekday meal or for leisurely weekend dining.

We also enjoy the regular visits from our friends in Oregon and others on their travels throughout the Seattle-Metro area.

You can always count on excellent food with Chef Blanca. We had the scallops, lamb and prawns and tried every dessert. Each one was a masterpiece. Her cocktails alone are worth the trip. This time we really enjoyed the music as well. This is an intimate place run by wonderful people. Our server was fantastic, personable, knowledgeable and observant. She was on top of every detail.

I always enjoy eating in this little restaurant. my friend and I both enjoyed our meals. the green salad was particularly delicious - very fresh!

We very much enjoyed the scallops over polenta and a Pimienta burger. Service was warm and friendly as always. The restaurant, however, was really cold! Especially the floor. We had a very nice dinner but went home needing a hot shower.

My experience was lovely! Thank you for asking, over and over. Pimienta is a favorite spot that makes me feel fortunate to live in the neighborhood. On this occasion my companion and I each had a linguini special with prawns, beef and mushrooms. It was delicious and a perfect comfort meal on a rainy November evening. We began with the Pimienta salad and the soup de jour, both of which were excellent. Drinks are a highlight at Pimienta as well. Come enjoy a romantic dinner with someone special. The ambiance is usually great for that and the drinks, food and service are always exceptional.

This restaurant is such a surprise -- you just don't expect to find sophisticated cuisine in a strip mall overlooking a gas station. But, sure enough, the menu is inventive and the food is quite delicious. It's also a bonus to have the chef wait on your table (it is, after all, a very small restaurant). Prices are a bit high and parking is mess, but we'd definitely go back.

The ambiance is amazing! The food did come out just a bit too cold for my taste, while the scallops were buttery delicious, they were a little chilled by the time the food came out. The port belly flavors were delectable, but unfortunately the pork belly was a little over done.
