Pisces Rising is a celebration of Florida cuisine located in beautiful Mount Dora. Established in 2003, the restaurant offers sweeping views of Lake Dora with multiple options for dining in the main dining room, semi-private, private, and outside areas of the establishment. Pisces Rising is a proud supporter of regional sustainability and utilizing fresh, local ingredients in culinary dishes first and foremost whenever possible. The scratch kitchen, referred to as the "Heart of the House", consists of a team of passionate Chefs who put their love and care into each dish. That passion stretches to the service team whose goal is to deliver the best hospitality delivered with warmth and grace.

From the Happy Birthday sign on the table, to our wonderful server Shi, to everyone wishing me a Happy Birthday, to the champagne toast, and the awesome food, This os my favorite restaurant in Mount Dora. There's a reason we keep coming back here.

                                                                          This is a wonderful restaurant for a celebration. We had a 7:30 reservation and got in promptly. The weight staff was friendly and the food was delicious. My husband‘s birthday celebration came with an extra dessert which was sweet of the staff. If you can go during the week, it won’t be as hectic. Also, I advise making a reservation as far in advance as possible because it is popular.

                                                                          I sadly ordered the fried fish sandwich. When it came to the table, it looked terribly sad and like it came out out of a frozen box. When I asked the waitress if it had been pre-frozen, she said no it was fresh, but it was awful. I chose not to send it back because I didn’t want to disrupt the kitchen, but shame on me because it was that bad.

                                                                          The sunset over Lake Dora, the restaurant, wonderful drinks, and the food was perfect! I have been here many times, which is why I chose it for a special dinner meeting… it did not disappoint…

                                                                          We were able to sit outside for a beautiful sunset evening. My husband had the special - bison ribs. Tasty and unique. Only downside was my salmon. Requested med to rare but was more well done than preferred.

Service — lady had too many tables - she said so herself—- I Waited at table for over 15 min before anyone came for drink order … then waited again …
