This was our first time eating at Plate. We were looking for a place to celebrate the 49th anniversary of our 1st date. We were seated quickly our waitress was super nice however it took forever To get our food and we had to ask multiple times for bread. Ketchup and salt.

The happy hour is amazing. We had three dishes, all quite good, and three drinks… all for fifty bucks! The service was great, and it’s a lovely environment. We’ll be back.

Best Leawood restaurant. Excellent menu, great kitchen and professional wait staff. Best place for business lunch, dinner with friends and family or date night. Friendly, welcoming atmosphere at the bar. Plate Restaurant is my favorite dining establishment in Leawood, KS.

Had lunch here on a Monday for a friend’s birthday. They were out of most wines on their list. My friend finally settled for a cocktail which was tasty but very overpriced. We had the pear bruschetta appetizer and it was delicious. We tried the beet and arugula salad and rosemary chicken sandwich. Food was ok but not outstanding.
