Platea is curated and owned by Chef & Entrepenaurs Fernando Salazar & Andres Marmolejos.
The Platea Experience provides guests with a one-of-a-kind take on the classic Prime Steakhouse but delivering them with flavors brought on by the Peruvian influence and quality Marmolejos & Salazar are known for. All our steaks come from the top 1% of the Prime cattles in the USA, some of the very best there is in the world when it comes to marbling, fattiness, and flavor. All our seafood is fresh and comes from independent purveyors, some of them flying in the selective menu items on a daily basis.

We have been to Platea a few times now and we love the consistency of their great service and amazing food. Also, the Caymus Sundays are great!

An outstanding experience all the way. Food was excellent, service professional and attentive and wine list extremely reasonable. We were visiting from Boston but our children and granddaughter will be returning soon,

It was my first time visiting Platea (Pinecrest, FL) and we had a great experience. Our server Adan was friendly and professional. I ordered the 32 oz Tomahawk Rib Eye, which had a different taste than your typical rib eye. The seasoning used is Peruvian-inspired and was tasty. I shared it with my wife because it was a good-sized portion. We also liked the truffle fries. They were light and crispy with that unmistakable truffle taste. For dessert, we had the chocolate ganache cake which was ok but we liked "The Garden" which is a cheese cake-inspired dessert. Its creamy and not too sweet and surprisingly they add micro greens (arugula) which gives it an even better taste. I highly recommend this place. John 3:16

Great food and with the Wednesday Prime Steak and Wine (no corkage fee) special the value was excellent. Only complaint is that they should keep the curtains closed so don’t look out over the adjacent bank drive-through with its bright lights. That is a real ambience killer.

Always an awesome time here! Great service. Delicious food. Awesome ambiance. However, I will say that the music was particularly loud last night. Not the usual case on Thursday but still a great night!

It started with the table having a card wishing us a happy anniversary!! Then our waiter made some great recommendations and they all HIT! Great ambience and the food was cooked to perfection!

Always a great time! The food is great, the service is kind and consistent, and it is overall an awesome experience. Love the tostones, oysters, ribeyes, white chaufa and brussel sprouts! Chip is always on point with his wine suggestions!
