Less is always more. Restaurateur Sara Grizzle (formerly of Redemption Grill and Essex) and Food Network’s award winning chef, Abe Lopez, have teamed up to create a bright new spot in Manhattan’s East Village with the best Tapas ever plus other small dishes. The menu offers a taste of everything and accommodates every food preference, meat eaters and vegans alike. Serving Tapas lets a group mix and mingle. With a great wine list, a good selection of tap and bottled beers, as well as some of the most interesting cocktails around (try the Ginger Mojito), Poco is the perfect spot for a quick drink and appetizer, dinner, or a place to wind down after a hectic day.
The food is original and fantastic (Mac & Cheese & Lobster) and as well as a good price performer appealing to budgets of any size.

Street parking is permitted but often difficult to find. Save the environment and come by transit or cab for a quick and easy arrival.
Public transit
Poco is 4 blocks away from the "F" stop on Houston and 2nd Avenue. If you ride at the front of the train you will get off at 1st Avenue and Houston. Walk East 2 blocks and turn left and walk North 2 blocks. You can transfer to the F from the 6 train on the East Side and from the A,C, E, 1, 2, and 3 on the West Side.

Music changes as the night changes. Relaxing jazz and low keyed tunes at Brunch and before 9 pm at night. Although no dancing is permitted, the upbeat rhythms will keep you moving in your seat as the night goes on.

It was so loud but once we had a round of drinks it was all good! Food and drinks were great and enjoyable!

This is my 2nd time coming to poco. My first experience was pretty bad, but this was one was 1000 time better. I loved the food and drinks and the service was great. Now i see the big hype on poco. Definitely want to come back again.

Our server was angel and that’s exactly what she was an angel. She made our experience so enjoyable.. the food is amazing too. A must if you visit nyc xx

The food was very good, however it seems like the restaurant was understaffed as we had to wait a long time for our food to come out. The waiter was apologetic and did let us know that the kitchen was backed up, but we still had to wait over an hour for our food. When it did come, it came all at once, except for 2 of our dishes (the PEI Mussels and the skirt steak). It was another 30 - 40 minute wait for that. It was a place that was tasty, but not stand out enough for me to go back if the service is consistently slow, especially on Saturday nights.
