Nestled in downtown Los Gatos, Polenteria serves up Italian cuisine, that is Celiac safe.
We are a small 22 seat restaurant, that is very intimate. With a European feel, many of our guests proclaim that they have been whisked away to Italy or France. We love that!

Many accolades from the SF Chronicle, and the Mercury News as well as Eater SF hail Chef Yvonne and her team at Polenteria for being on the cutting edge of the Gluten Free Movement, and more importantly providing a safe space for those with Celiac to dine without hesitation.

We are a small restaurant and therefore we do have a strict no show- cancellation policy. we need 24 hours or more. Please be considerate of this.

The food is great here and the staff is friendly but…. You can only sit at your table for 1.5 hours so we felt like everything was very rushed, app, dinner then check. If you want a leisure dinner this is not the place for you.

All gluten free brunch. We had the Italian sandwich and Bolognese which were great. We also bought bagels and donuts which are excellent.

The food is lovely and can accommodate many dietary restrictions. The endive salad is delicious. It is a tiny spot so be prepared to be sat behind an opening and closing door. Our host and part time server was wearing a backwards baseball cap. So not a very respectable vibe.

Always the best food at Polenteria! Great for a celiac who feels confident in a restaurant! Wonderful service and Yvonne is the best!

We are not GF, but you don't need to be to enjoy the amazing food at Polenteria. We had the Pork chop special and the Short Rib Pappardelle. Both were outstanding. Also the Cauliflower appetizer was something special, very delicate but surprising flavors.

Wonderful food. Very small space but well done. We had the table next to the door and try as the staff did, serve customers kept leaving it open. Hope to not get that table next time!
