   Love this place! The service is terrific and the food outstanding! It's one of our favorites and always our go to for celebrations. The butterfish is the best I have had in any restaurant. It seriously can't be beat. We have tried most of their delicious menu items and we haven't found one we don't like. We highly recommend this lovely little restaurant close to the ocean.

   Four of us had seafood dishes and each was absolutely delicious! Definitely try the butterfish, mahi tuna, and scallops. The pear salad with macadamia granola was sweet and tasty. Great presentations on the plate, too. For dessert we shared the Mochi Cake — yum! Can’t wait to come back and try other menu items. They only serve wine and beer, and sake cocktails for now. Looking forward to when they get a full bar going.

   The lilikoi tart is one of the best bites I’ve had in a while! Our server was lovely and we enjoyed everything we ordered!

   Great food, unfortunately they were out of three of our favorites. Really tasty!!! Our server had problems with the timing of the food, but nevertheless we enjoyed the food and Preston was lovely

   Amazing food. The prime fillet was excellent, and so was tart dessert. Ambiance was great and I would 100% come back here again.

   On Valentine’s Day, 4 of us were finding most places were not available for a regular dinner since we’d just arrived from out of town. Suddenly Open Table showed Pono Pacific had an opening, so we snagged it. The mahi mahi was the perfect combination of sweet and crunchy. The squash appetizer was also delectable. Mussels complemented the halibut, and the shortbread tart deliciously completed the exquisite meal. It turns out a previous reservation had just serendipitously canceled, lucky us!

    Every year we come back to this area and dinner at Pono is a must! Love their dishes and the ambiance is calm and serene yet romantic and lovely for 2-4 people. My only issue is choosing what to order since their filet mignon is SO amazing!
