What an amazing experience we had at Poppy & Seed. Our server, Caleb was on point with his suggestions, and so was the kitchen, and bar. The Short ribs, shrimp and grits, and the Waffle and chicken were delightful. The cocktails and mocktail were unique and innovative. We highly recommend this great find to everyone interested in a great dining experience.

Amazing food! We got seated at the back corner of the “garden patio” at a very isolated table that was being lit by a nearby street lamp. That table shouldn’t even be a seating option. The food was incredible, but the table was a big let down.

We LOVE Poppy & Seed. We often venture to LA for dinners, so it’s nice to have a local restaurant that has equally great food, service and ambiance - P&S is that restaurant. Food is deliciously prepared, cocktails are varied, ambiance is SoCal beautiful, service is prompt and friendly. Tonight, we the outset dishes we had were bone marrow, the lamb shank and the gelato & waffle. The gelato is house made and was perfectly just-sweet enough for my adult palate. It was a perfect meal in a great setting.

2/12/2025 Last night my wife my wife and I and our four children and their spouses enjoyed a wonderful meal at Poppy and Seed un Anaheim, including a post-meal Q and A with chef/owner Michael Reed, We had ten of the entrees shared all-around and none were found wanting. My personal favorite was the lobster risotto. The starters and sides were delicious as well. Our server, Eugene and his assistant Matt added to our experience by keeping the flow of the many items from kitchen and bar at a perfect pace. Eugene's knowledge of the menu was very comprehensive, as he answered our many questions and enhanced our enjoyment. I would recommend Poppy and to any and all,

This outing was my fourth rodeo at Poppy and Seed - always a pleasure! I was excited to share the experience with visiting guests and locals for their first visit. My only complaint this time was that our server didn’t close us out and say goodbye, and the worst part was that he didn’t acknowledge the birthday celebrant after I clearly notified him of who she was and the occasion of our gathering. One of his colleagues stepped in and made it happen following my visit to the bar to track down our server, but it was disheartening after such a wonderful experience. Especially given a table of ten! He was great otherwise, so let him know to be mindful of this going forward. Thanx!

Have been meaning to try here for awhile. The brunch menu was great with a lot of variety. The service was very good. The avocado toast and the chilaquiles were both very good, but the chilaqulies should have/could have been hotter (temperature.) Both had awesome flavor and the eggs were poached perfectly. Will definitely go back and hope to have hotter food.

I do not like the Anaheim Convention Center/Disney circus. Every year when I attend the NAMM convention I dread the dining choices. Overhyped and overly crowded restaurant chains with a price tag way beyond the quality of food and/or the service. In other words, a tourist trap! So, imagine my surprise when I found this little oasis. The place reminded me of NAPA a bit. I believe it is called The Colony and the restaurant with the lovely patio is called Poppy and Seed. Dont tell everyone! #Anaheim #poppyandseed #finedining

This is 5 star dining without the pretentiousness. We arrived on time and were seated right away. Great service throughout the night. Our server seemed to love his job. We had the tasting menu and the food was thoughtfully paired with unique flavors in every bite. Each course was brought out in even succession with no long delay. It really was a perfect dinner.
