   We have been patronizing this business for 30 years. This time, our server, Veronica, provided outstanding service. One of our meals, sand dabs, was excellent. Unfortunately, the other meal, lamb tenderloin, was chewy and tough. Veronica offered to bring us a different meal but we opted to accept a second serving of lamb which was also chewy and tough and mostly went uneaten. We are hoping this feedback will be used as constructive criticism and that the chef and owner will be aware that the quality of the meat needs to improve greatly. Veronica removed the charge for this meal from our bill and we appreciate that, but we really want to be able to return with reasonable confidence that the meal will be outstanding.

   Went here around 5:18 on 5/24/25 as finding parking after touring the aquarium was challenging but we eventually got to find a spot. Called the restaurant and told them we will be there late by 15-20 minutes and they were very understanding. Food, services, accommodation was very good and outstanding, will definitely come back here in the near future :)

   One of our favorites in Carmel. Always impeccable service and a lively atmosphere. The main dining area is small so it gets a little loud but you can still converse. My wife always gets salmon and I get short ribs or a pasta dish. Outside dining is nice in good weather. Good selection of cocktails and a decent wine list.

   I would say it’s like Casanova; they both are more for tourists. They’re not the best around the area but the experience in its own makes up for it with some dishes being actually tasteful. The warm soft bread and green sauce is good forsure

   Great food and service. Loved the black bean and goat cheese fritters with salsa! And the halibut and trout were delicious.
