Nestled beneath the steep slopes of Porthminster Point, right on the beach with unbeatable and uninterrupted views across St Ives Bay to Godrevy Lighthouse. Now open all year round for coffee, lunch and dinner.
Porthminster Cafe in St Ives is a multi award winning seafood restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The café specialises in Mediterranean and Asian seafood cuisine and is an oasis of taste and visual beauty.

    2nd visit. Great food and attentive staff. Pork cheeks starter melted in the mouth. Fish curry was also delicious with roasted hispi cabbage. Will definitely return

    We had a very warm and friendly greeting. Service was speedy, helpful and attentive without being intrusive. A good choice available and the quality excellent. All together a most enjoyable experience. Thoroughly recommended!

    Incredible as always. We’ve been about 8 times over the past 5 years and will keep coming back. Love the Porthminster.

    Super food, service, drinks & view. We were a table of 5 with a dog and we tried a verity of offerings from the menu, all were excellent. Staff were very friendly and accommodating from the moment we walked through the door. Will certainly be recommending and visiting again.

    We go to the Porthminster cafe around times a year travelling from Paignton using the railway as a, relaxing day out and the restaurant has never disappointed. We had the set lunch menu costing £34 each. I had the Smoked baked Haddock for starters and the Turbot with Sampfire for mains whilst my Wife had Asian Crispy Beef with Hand Rolled Riccotta for Mains and we both had A Chocolate Brownie with Pink Peppercorns for Dessert. What totally, As always, Made the meal was the excellent service and the stunning views of the beach. Cant wait to rett
