This place is way overpriced. Ordered a 3 scallop appetizer. They were supposed to be diver scallops. Not close. Quarter sized for $24 and very chewy. Entrees very small. Short ribs were good but 1 rib for $48? Was it a wow? No. Bolognese was ok. Caprese salad was good but for $17, it was very small. Ordered a donut hole desert. Wasn’t completely cooked. To top it off, if you want to bring a bottle of wine from your cellar, it’s a $50 dollar corkage fee! I’ve NEVER seen a $50 corkage fee. Insane. Way too many choices in Indy to be back.

The food and service here is exceptional. The owner has a gifted menu and you can tell he takes pride in every dish he serves. We have lo9ved everything we have had here and frequent Portofino. If you are looking for fine dining at its best....go here.

Portafino never disappoints. The menu is limited but based on a typical Italian dinner with four course plus dessert. The food and service are both top rate. The wine list has something for everybody without being overwhelming. Highly recommend Portafino.

The filet listed on our physical menu’s, we were told is no longer offered. The filet is why we all went. It was great in the past.

We have driven past this restaurant many times on the way home, but this was the first time we’ve eaten there. The food was authentic (our daughter-in-law is Italian) and outstanding in presentation, serving temperature and preparation. It was difficult to choose from the many choices on the menu. We will definitely eat here again. And again.
