We have dined at the Post several times now. Alway excellent food, lovely ambience and friendly staff. Not too noisey, would recommend to friends.

Food was too die for! Perfectly suited to winter. The portions can be deceiving, as they look small, but are so filling! My only "complaint" would be that the bread definitely needs to be served with salted butter or something else but the oil. It was a bit of a let down. Also, the chairs with the wooden back are terribly uncomfortable. Overall though, we had a lovely evening with good food, wine, service and company.

I actually took business clients to Post two days in a row this week. On both occasions the service was slow and the wait staff inattentive, despite there being very few patrons in the restaurant on both days. We had to ask to see coffee/dessert menus both days. The second day, our sides were not put through to the kitchen and therefore we had nearly finished our meals before we could catch the attention of the waitress and ask where they were. When she went to check she said she had forgotten to put them through and that they would get them now. We declined this offer as we had almost finished eating. It was particularly strange that she said that the kitchen was busy and that's how the error had occurred but there was only one other couple in the whole restaurant. I can only assume that they were also cooking for Wildflower and perhaps the hotel patrons??? The staff were very slow to approach us and offer anything which was strange when I think it was clear we were a business lunch and we chose the "express menu". Lucky, the ambience is fabulous for a business meeting and the food great. If I hear from others the service has improved, I will be back, if not, I am afraid you won't see me again in a hurry.

We thoroughly enjoyed both entree and main meal even though there was a limited selection. Staff were friendly and efficient. Perhaps the only thing that could have been better was a bit more time between our cocktail and entree, otherwise a very enjoyable meal.

Good choice of bar venues for pre-meal drinks , meal was very good , healthy options, nice wine selection, service very attentive, a great way to spend an anniversary.
