The food was great, but our waiter did not ask us if we needed more water/drinks when we were done with the first round. I asked for a water refill several times over the dinner time, and we needed to ask for a dessert menu because it was not offered. Staff could have been more attentive, but I hope it was because our dinner was the next day after Christmas, and everything is usually slow this time.

Live music and food were phenomenal. Service was a little iffy, which was disappointing given all of the reviews. We ordered pasta, so you would think they’d ask if we wanted grated cheese. Also we shared two entrees, and no split plates were provided initially. We asked for them, and they were promptly provided, however this is something that servers take care of in the first instance, especially when the surrounding tables start to empty out. Will likely be back given the food quality, and give the service a second chance.

Best overall dining experience since we've moved to California. Absolutely rivals (and bests) our favorite NYC/East Coast Italian restaurants. Perfect from beginning to end. Easily earns our highest recommendation as repeat customers. A must try.

Great little restaurant with great food and outstanding service. The biggest downside? Poor parking with the closest on busy Hawthorne Blvd.

We had an amazing dinner at Primo. Ambience was wonderful, Piano music, and amazing stuff. Food is truly good, as Italian I avoid Italian restaurants in California, but this one is excellent.

We went to their special event, celebrating Frank Sinatra with Jack Daniel’s. The menu was exceptional (but from Primo’s we expect nothing less). Loved all the courses- scallops cooked to perfection. The braised beef stew with butternut squash was amazing as well as the classic Ribeye and the wonderful dessert. Loved the whiskey’s- especially the Sinatra selection. However, my favorite part of the evening was listening to Lou sing with “his trio” and their tribute to Frank. Lou and Grace, we love your restaurant and how you make everyone feel special. Keep up the outstanding work. Looking forward to celebrating New Year’s Eve with you.

Primo has been outstanding in their quality of food and service. I take my grandkids there, even though they don't have a kids menu, they always custom make whatever the kids request. Needless to say the kids love this place.
