   Quality Foods Market isn't just a hidden gem, it's the whole treasure. It's in one of the most unassuming settings one could imagine, but the food and service are better than any other restaurant my wife and I have ever eaten at. The personal interaction with Chef Chris is something we've never experienced anywhere else. He spends time with every guest and seems genuinely happy to be making food for everyone. The tables are surrounded by hundreds of bottles of wine, and Chef Chris even helped select a great bottle in our price range. The service staff is very attentive and anything we need, it just seems to be there without asking, and the food is perfect. Literally perfect. It's better than anything we have back home in NYC and as good as anything I've ever had in Italy the couple of times I've visited. Don't sleep on this place. You'll be missing out if you do.

   Delizioso! Perfezione! These are the first two words that come to mind when talking about this little place. The food is amazing. High end places in New York and Boston can't compare. The ambiance is quaint and made me feel like I was in a residential area of Rome or Florence, and the service was perfect. Roman artichokes were the perfect start, and the house salad had this guy craving more! That dressing is heaven! For mains we started with the pesto pasta. It was so fresh and flavorful. Next we had the ribeye with foie gras butter. OMG! Best steak I have ever had. Incredibly juicy and cut like butter. I can't imagine having steak anywhere else now. We managed to save room to split a pistachio cannoli, and like the rest of dinner, it did not disappoint. It was better than any cannoli I've had in NYC. Kudos to Chef Chris! We look forward to our next visit!

   Chef Chris was very personable and made our experience that much better. His knowledge of Italian cuisine and wine combined with the quality of ingredients in his food is nothing I’ve seen here in the Tampa region. All fresh ingredients, homemade pastas , fresh seafood, the bread and olive oils were among the best. Prepare yourself for an authentic Italian dinner where you are not rushed between dishes and you’re expected to relax and enjoy your evening. They are not there to turn tables, they want you to experience their amazing food they way they do in Italy. The staff were very attentive to what you were doing. Never had to pour my own wine or get a refill on water. Dishes never stayed empty on the table before being removed without notice. The menu will change daily which is amazing. They will only use fresh ingredients that are flown in from Italy. Homemade pastas, bread made with quality ingredients that you taste in every bite. I cannot wait to go back!

   Quality Foods Market is our favorite restaurant. It is our go to for date night and special occasions. Last night was just a regular dinner but we didn't plan ahead and saw a table available shortly before they closed. This is the only restaurant we feel welcomed and unrushed when booking a late table. Chef Chris and Emily provide the same level of service and food to every table no matter what the time. There have been so many times at other restaurants where they turn the lights up right at closing time. Not here. The meal was paced perfectly and we enjoyed a nearly two hour dinner experience, long after the official closing time. Chef Chris and his staff are the best!

   Quality Foods Market is the best restaurant experience anywhere. The food and service are consistently flawless. Each meal takes us back to Italy. Thank you Chef Chris for another outstanding dinner experience!

   If you're looking for the best Italian - Quality Foods Market is the real deal. Everything we've ever had has been amazing. The bolognese is addictive! The service is always great - formal fine dining service but never stuffy and pretentious. Chef Chris is a very gracious host. Thank you for a wonderful late-night meal!

   We had no plans last night and saw that Quality Foods had a table open so we quickly reserved it and headed over. As always, Chef Chris recommended an excellent red wine - we started with the house bread dipped in tasty oil and balsamic vinegar, followed by fresh salad (greens are grown on site), my husband had the fish and baby artichoke hearts and I had the ragu bolognese (my favorite). If you haven’t been, you’re missing out on a neighborhood gem. Quality ingredients, most of which come from Italy, and the food is cooked by Chef Chris and his lovely wife Emily as you are enjoying the evening. We are spoiled!

   Quality Foods Market is one of the best restaurants, anywhere. The food and service are impeccable and it's not just dinner, it's an experience. In all our visits, Chef Chris has taught me what to look for in store bought pasta, how balsamic vinegar is made, and how to turn a red grape into a white wine - we had a bottle of WHITE PINOT NOIR! WHO KNEW? He is a virtual encyclopedia of all things Italian, food, and wine. We love that he takes the time with every table, and still manages to make all of the food too. The other thing we love is that we have never been rushed. Everything is paced perfectly and we are encouraged to relax and enjoy ourselves. It is so refreshingly different than every other restaurant around.

   An outstanding meal as always. The branzino was the best I've had anywhere. Nobody gets the skin right, and this was perfectly crisp. The truffle gnocchi that my wife had was also perfect. Decadent and rich. The service was also outstanding. Thank you Chef Chris and team for another memorable meal!

    True culinary experience. This is a place you think you should keep a secret, but that wouldn’t be fair to all the foodies in the Tampa/St. Pete area. Respect for bringing authentic cuisine and for the passion towards food and wine.
