Quince is an upscale casual, indoor/outdoor restaurant where all demographics and generations come together and enjoy a dining experience beyond normal expectations. People may initially visit for the terraces with exceptional views, but the food and the overall “Quince Experience” is what keeps them coming back.     Service was okay, food came out in good time but waiter was not easy to understand and was quiet as well as not super friendly. Surf and turf roll was good nothing super special. The aji pepper risotto was very good super flavorful and the beef was cooked well. Rock shrimp tempura was also very good! Overall good food and okay service.

    Quince Lakehouse is an amazing spot that will transport you to another world. We kept saying we felt like we were somewhere on vacation in Mexico. The ambiance and lake-side location make this spot unbeatable! The food was wonderful! I recommend the seared ahi kale salad. It did not disappoint! The one drawback was our server. While very friendly, he was not ver attentive. This is our first dining experience here, so I don't want to assume all service is slow. Just a heads up if you're in a hurry. We'll definitely be back.

    The food, service and atmosphere were great! The music was too loud. People had to yell at each other to be heard.

    The service was VERY slow and the food was of poor quality. We were recently at the Quince location in San Miguel de Allende and we were blown away at the incredible food. Definitely disappointed by the Austin location.

    DO NOT GO HERE! An unbelievably terrible experience. We arrived at 6:10 for our 615 reservation and were told it would be “just a moment“. We sat in the waiting area and were not seated until 6:45! We sat at our table for 10 minutes before a waiter came by and said he was slammed and would be with us “shortly“. Another 10 minutes and we still didn’t even have water. I finally went to the bar to buy a couple of drinks since the waiter had not returned. When he did finally come back, he apologized. I told him what happened and that we were not very happy at this point. He said “I don’t blame you”. “I wouldn’t eat here if I were you“ he said “the kitchen is crumbling“. By now it was 8:00 and we had not even ordered. Not only that, there were very few other customers in the crowded dining room (not sure why it was crowded since the place is terrible) who had any food on their table. We left and will never return.

    We were really disappointed with our experience at Quince, especially given its strong reputation. We had a 4:15 pm reservation, arrived early, and checked in, but still waited 30 minutes for our table. Service was incredibly slow—we weren’t acknowledged by a server for at least 10 minutes. We received dirty sharing plates which were taken back but were never given new ones until food arrived. We ordered drinks and appetizers together which took another 20 minutes, but the appetizers arrived well before the drinks, which trickled in sporadically—some only after we had finished eating. My glass of Sauvignon Blanc was the smallest pour possible. We decided to leave before even ordering entrees. Our server Kevin, was accommodating and comped our meal, which earned Quince an extra star in this review.
