Restaurant designer Paul Vega founder of VLDG design who is known for his design with Rockwell Group helps emulate that Tuscan feel and experience throughout. Had a hard time finding a reservation- this restaurant popped up and after so long of searching we decided to try it. Not disappointed at all. Food was amazing, staff was friendly and attentive. Small intimate setting, honestly best food I had in the three days in nyc.

Food was wonderful and the staff were extremely attentive and professional. We did feel that we were rushed through our dinner to make room for the next reservation eventhough we were there less than 75 minutes. Noise level in the restaurant was very high for what I would call a higher quality restaurant

Wait staff clearly wanted to give their best effort. My only suggestion would be to have them all stop “running around.” It stressed me out that there were too many people attending our table.. it seemed confusing. And every one of them were literally running around and bumping into one another. This place is beautiful and food was great. Maybe 2 people (max) attending a table and everyone just slow down to make it feel more relaxed.

Service was good, food was abysmal. Knew I was in for a trip when instead of bringing out garlic bread at the beginning for the table they gave us half a slice of white wonder bread. Foolishly ordered the filet mignon. Half of the steak was fat, only got a few actual edible bites out of it and it was very dry at that. Ridiculously overpriced for what I received

its extremely rare when i do any reviews and ill just get to the point, servers and hosts were great no issue there. But the food had no salt, it was bland over all, i cant stress that enough, 8 out of the 11 people in our group complained about the very same thing. It was a busy day during Christmas holidays, we were served stale bread and they said " we ran out" when asked can we have any other type of bread, they ended up finding some bread but all bad. We had a party of 11 and were sat in the back room where there was barley an attempt at creating a nice area with a holiday season ambience ( there was a speaker there with music off, maybe a reef on the wall) the lighting in the room was bright and didnt match the nicer parts of the restaurant which did have a better feel to them. the price is the price its nyc after all but it REALLY hurt paying for an experience youd expect at a sort of Italian restaurant in the middle of no where, Again the staff was amazing and friendly they didnt have much to work with and we dont blame them
