Ramerino Italian Prime Restaurant nestled on 16 East 39 street Midtown ,Strategically located steps away from Bryant Park, Empire State Building and NY Public Library. Restaurant designer Paul Vega founder of VLDG design who is known for his design with Rockwell Group helps emulate that Tuscan feel and experience throughout. Tuscan native Executive Chef Vilfrid Hodai is bringing his expertise in prime-cut meat, hand-made pasta and farm-fresh vegetables prepared in the classic fashion of Italian cuisine. Way to start the 2025 year with dinner here on 1/1/25! Food from salad to dessert was exceptional—we had drinks, salad, Shrimp Scampi and Limone Pollo and Tiramisu. Not only was the food something to come back for, but the dining room staff worked together as a team, was very attentive, gave wonderful recommendations and just put the meal over the top. Both Blendi and Steve get high kudos from us for their service. You won’t go wrong having a meal here!

The food was excellent. We started with the Caesar salad and then had the ravioli Della casa and the bolognese. We also appreciated the pacing of the restaurant.

I had to take a late reservation due to attending a show, upon arrival we were rushed to order our food and we were served sliced white bread instead of italian bread or baguette. Our pasta was bland and did not have much flavor. Chef/staff seemed annoyed that we took a late reservation and kept giving excuses for not having bread or menu items, my guest and I should have been treated better.

Over busy service wasn’t good, our waiter had about 1/2 the restaurant and couldn’t service us like normal
