Food was excellent - Service slow, they appeared understaffed. Incredibly noisy, honestly had to shout at a table of 4. They could use some noise cancelling panels. Don't choose the table under the air conditioner - it was either very cold or too warm.

Let’s s start with the atmosphere. It’s definitely on the louder side. The noise level can be overwhelming, especially during peak hours, making it a bit hard to have a conversation. However if you’re in the mood for a lively environment, you might enjoy the buzz. Unfortunately our reservation was pretty delayed. Although there were no seats at the bar it would have been helpful if someone could have helped us get a drink since we were waiting on them. Not pay for it but at least get a bartender for us. Once we were seated, though the service was good and the staff was attentive and friendly. Now onto the good part the food! The porter house for 2 was fantastic! The sides creamed spinach, mashed potatoes and mushrooms and onions added everything! We had good drinks and a fabulous dessert. Will probably go back.

Brought in 3 friends who had never been to Rare before. James made the entire experience amazing, like he always does. The food was presented and cooked to perfection and start to finish was spectacular. They all want to go back soon! Best night at the BEST restaurant! Thank you, James and Rare!

Rare is always excellent. I go there every time we come to town. The steaks are cooked perfectly and the homemade pastas are delicious. The service was beyond our expectations last night. We will definitely be back!

After several visits with another couple to this steak house we were “greeted” with a ‘no separate check’ policy. New manager, new policy. After we insisted, the manager grudgingly agreed. Then when we ordered our drinks and asked for bread we were told we could not have bread before we order our meals. New manager, new policy. The food was disappointing. My New York strip was tough and tasteless. My side of Brussels sprouts tasted like stewed cabbage, and my side of broccoli rabe was tasteless. The service was very good, but the management policies left a bad taste in our mouths. We will not return to this restaurant.

First time @ Rare, won't be our last. Went to Rare for a work dinner for 4. Greeted by James our server who proceeded to explain the specials, showed off the meat tray of the various cuts etc. All very nice quality. We got some apps to share; crab cake, shrimp, zucchini. Mains were filet, NY strip and porterhouse. The meats were tender and delicious and they include sauces if you prefer that. Overall the ambiance and food was great and would highly recommend
