After several visits with another couple to this steak house we were “greeted” with a ‘no separate check’ policy. New manager, new policy. After we insisted, the manager grudgingly agreed. Then when we ordered our drinks and asked for bread we were told we could not have bread before we order our meals. New manager, new policy. The food was disappointing. My New York strip was tough and tasteless. My side of Brussels sprouts tasted like stewed cabbage, and my side of broccoli rabe was tasteless. The service was very good, but the management policies left a bad taste in our mouths. We will not return to this restaurant.

First time @ Rare, won't be our last. Went to Rare for a work dinner for 4. Greeted by James our server who proceeded to explain the specials, showed off the meat tray of the various cuts etc. All very nice quality. We got some apps to share; crab cake, shrimp, zucchini. Mains were filet, NY strip and porterhouse. The meats were tender and delicious and they include sauces if you prefer that. Overall the ambiance and food was great and would highly recommend

We have eaten there many times the past three years. We had not been there in at least six months as the last time we went the food was terrible. The food was much better this time. However it was very busy so it was noisy and the service took awhile. U would go back again though not as often .

Rare is my favorite restaurant. I have been to many steak restaurants in the area, and Rare is top notch above them all. The staff remember you and say hi when you walk in. The food is fantastic. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of and valued. Always a good time!!

My husband and were celebrating my new job tonight and we’re not disappointed!!!! Drinks were spot on and our steaks and sea bass were cooked perfectly. Highly recommend the chocolate chip dessert!

I ordered the Calamari for an appetizer and it was very good. I then ordered the Porterhouse steak for 2 and it was plenty. No need for any sauce, the meat was made perfectly and had a lot of flavor. I ordered the Thai chili Brussel sprouts and it was flavorful however there was too much sauce and the sprouts were very small. Overall the food and atmosphere was great and I would recommend.
