                                                    They were out of several items on an already somewhat small menu. Lamb entree and a yam side dish, specifically—neither difficult to source. And parking is an issue—$16 to park in the public lot next door—and they don’t answer the phone to offer parking suggestions.

                                                    We had two plates of the oxtails and grits and one shrimp and grits from the brunch menu and they were both delicious! The brown sugar wings were good too! The cornbread was nice and soft and the jam and butter made a perfect pairing!

                                                    My friends and I went to Red Rooster for a birthday brunch. Red Rooster in Overtown has an incredible dining experience with its vibrant ambiance. I highly recommend the brown sugar wings; they are a delightful balance of sweet and savory, bursting with flavor in every bite.                                                     Our server Carlos was fantastic! He made multiple suggestions that were spot on. The Oxtail Pepper Pot was delicious and a nice size portion for sharing between two people. Highly recommend the Mac and Cheese. For starters the M’s Cornbread and Tuna Tiradito are a few can’t miss options. Decor takes you to another place. Well suited to the Miami area. Cool design and well thought out space. Will definitely go back!
