The restaurant was very busy as expected on NYE. Our server was Kris. She was attentive, polite and professional. We would highly recommend requesting a table with her.

Next year, though I think I’m going to request to be in the main dining room. The music in the bar was too loud and a little hard for my mom who can’t hear well!

                                                                                                                  In looking at menus from just a few weeks ago and in talking with people who’ve gone recently, prices went up 30% or more for Christmas Eve. Chicken was $70 and soup was $25! I really appreciated going in years past because it was a great mix of good food and value. After getting gouged, I am never going back again!

                                                                                                                  We probably should not have eaten in the small dining room where there is a big screen TV. during our Christmas Eve dinner, we unfortunately had to see the TV along with drug commercials and commercials for adult diapers. Red’s should have had Christmas movies or nothing at all on the TV during the holiday season. We were also disappointed in the limited holiday menu. No French onion soup along with other favorites not available. Perhaps we should have called ahead.

                                                                                                                  Had a fantastic birthday 🎂 dinner, starting with their "Green Goddess" salad, an incredible piece of swordfish, and a twice baked potato. Extraordinary service, amazing blue cheese olives in my martini. Olde school high quality establishment with a great vibe, lounge music and great staff. It's one of the best spots in San Diego County for all occasions.
