Welcome to Riwaz Beaconsfield.
It’s long been twice-Michelin starred chef Atul Kochhar's dream to champion the cuisines of India, especially the sub-cultures of Bohri, Ismaili, Moplah, Chettiars, amongst others.

The menu of creatively enticing flavours and spices includes dishes created and cooked by Atul’s grandmother. Lunch will showcase our set 2 and 3 course menu plus the Jugalbandi set menu of four courses for two to share (£35pp).

For a time-honoured experience, the evening A La Carte menu offers characteristic main courses complemented by a great selection of wines, cocktails and customary Indian drinks. A gourmet 7-course Tasting Menu (£65 pp) will be available in the early evenings (Sunday to Thursday). All of this customary deliciousness pays homage Atul’s Indian upbringing and the states of Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, West Bengali, Orissa, and other regions.

We had the New Year's Day set menu. Three courses for £27.95. Very good value. The food was excellent.

I am a fan of Atul Kochhar restaurants and frequent Riwaz more than others. Today's New Year's menu had a main course of Chicken Biriyani and Chicken Tandoori - for the first time struggled with both. The chicken tandoori was hard to cut through with knife and fork and the biriyani was a bit bland - not the usual I would say. Felt like coloured rice with chicken morsels. We were a party of four.

The food was disappointing with chicken in both mains chosen was very dry, and the chocolate mousse feeling more like a chocolate blancmange. I was disappointed as my last visit had delicious food. I have had better food at lower cost from my local Indian restaurants. The service was very friendly and attentive.

My five stars don’t get awarded easily, I can assure you! This was something to talk about. It’s only the second time in my life I’ve eaten food at a 2* Michelin chef’s establishment and I beg all readers to do it at least once. Do without, eat frugally, don’t buy birthday or Christmas presents, check down the back of the settee, beg or borrow, find the funds somehow, but go! Scallops that were sumptuous and meltingly tender, the aubergine main that held mystery and interest to the last and dessert was a drama in itself! As with the other time I ate so well, it was impossible to name any one ingredient in any of these offerings, so clever and skilled was the thought, experience and preparation. The service didn’t go unnoticed either, the perfect approach – professionalism, knowledge and a willingness to serve. We had a vegan in our party and she was served with choices adapted specially, beautifully and readily and swooned as much as any of the rest of us! I thank everyone of those involved for the memorable experience. Food is often forgotten once you’re out of the restaurant, not here. I can still conjure the exceptional array of flavours and textures. This lunch made my Christmas and has now started a tradition so expect us next year!

Great service. Thank you! Food very tasty but was overwhelmed by sauce just poured over the top (both starter & main course). Main problem for me was the toilets - dark, not terribly clean. Didn’t feel very hygienic- which makes me wonder how clean the kitchen area is?

Everything was really good. Food exceptional. Service impeccable. Great atmosphere. It was our first visit but won’t be our last. Much better than Hawkyns

Wonderful service, wonderful food. Had the tasting menu and accompanying wines and they dealt with 6 of us perfectly. Attentive to each of us and made us feeling like they wanted to please us. Thank you Riwaz
