First of all, the dining room was very loud. Our server was very pleasant but not really paying attention to how our food was served. I ordered a starter (tuna ceviche) as my main (and I stated this) along with a side of Brussels sprouts. My dinner companion ordered a main course. Our server delivered only the ceviche , asking if we wanted 2 plates.😳. I asked him to take it back to the kitchen and bring it when he brought my dinner companion’s main course.Then, long before he brought the mains, he delivered my Brussels sprouts! My dinner companion’s salmon was good. My ceviche was actually kind of tasteless and the chunks of tuna were so big that they needed to be cut with a knife. The brussels sprouts were tasty.

We went on a busy night before the jazz show so understand was packed however we had a reservation. Waited 45 minutes for our food and venison we orders rare was like leather over cooked, and we had 10 min to eat before the show. Salad was great but a bit of a bummer my partner was starving during the show because his meal wasn’t edible ;(

Roam is fantastic. The restaurant itself has such a comfortable feeling. We sat in one of the plush booths. I love that the noise level of the place is quiet. This helps make it just so cozy and comfortable to be there. The food is outstanding! I had the pumpkin gnocchi soup. It was vegan, gluten free and amazing! The gnocchi’s were crispy on the outside and chewy inside. I also had the flat iron steak, which was outstanding. We really loved our dinner and overall experience at Roam.

Awesome time. Will be back. Food and service very good, went for brunch. A must see while in Bend.

I would like to start out with a few positives: our server was fabulous, cocktails were delicious and the bourbon bacon crème brûlée was outstanding. Now on to the rest: the atmosphere feels very cafeteria like. The restaurant was quite empty but a party of 3 came in and were seated directly beside us. Literally Ike 6 inches between tables. Then they all talked to us the whole time. I was trying to have a nice dinner out with my husband but that was obnoxious as they were loud and we couldn’t have a private conversation. There were so many other spots they could have been seated. As far as food goes, we shared 4 different things. I didn’t love any of them. Not a lot of flavor in my opinion.

We had a confirmed reservation for 5:00 but when we showed up it was closed. We had to hustle to find some place else to eat because we had a show after.

We tried several starters as our dinner and it was simply amazing! Everything we tried was super yummy but we highly recommend the Pork Belly Sliders, Bang Band Sriracha Shrimp and Honey Whipped Feta with grilled peaches. Save room for the dessert, they were small, and we tried two between three of us, the star being Salted Pretzel Tiramisu, it was out of this world! Cocktails were interesting and excellent too. But the best was our server, Cody, who guided us through our dining journey, answering all sorts of questions about ingredients and preparation. Go!

We enjoyed a nice Chardonnay wine special and three really delicious appetizers (beef sliders, Brussels and Arancini). The doors were open as it was a lovely evening. Overall, I think this place is quite underrated. Nice venue. Good food. Acceptable prices.
