We went to Roanoke after Les Miserables at the Cadillac Theater. Very convenient location. We were early, but they seated us right away. The atmosphere is lovely. We ordered the Landmark Old Fashions. They did not disappoint. Delicious. We shared the cheese curds, also delicious. We ordered the Rotisserie Chicken and the Lobster Ravioli. My husband and I each ate half then switched plates, The Lobster Ravioli has shrimp and a vodka sauce. So flavorful! The Chicken with the carrots and potatoes was melt in your mouth! Here comes the negative part of our dinner. Our server was non existent. We had no idea there were house specials until we heard another server mention it. After delivering our meal, we never saw him again. I asked another server to get him, because we wanted more drinks, he never came. When he did bring our bill, I asked him for a dessert menu and after dinner drink options and he said they only had three desserts and one drink option. This was truly a disappointment, as his attitude and. unhelpfulness left us with a lackluster experience. We left. Will we go there again…Probably. The food taste was amazing and a great value.

Loved the idea of having a pre-theatre dinner before the Nutcracker unfortunately it is so crowded and maybe understaffed that you need to leave enough time to not rush dinner which we did not. Food was soso. Rotisserie chicken was too much food for the plate. I had the steak salad which was very disappointing.

We had a great server but the food, unfortunately, just wasn’t very good. We started with the fava bean hummus. It looked great but it was so overly salty that we couldn’t even eat it. Everything we ate was SO salty. I get that salt makes food taste better but this was so over the top! We had the burger, which was just ok, but the fries were too salty to finish. The chicken parm was cold in the middle. The other pasta dishes were ‘just ok’ and my Roanoak salad was also ‘just ok.’ Their prices are high, in my opinion, given the quality of the food.

This year, we spent several months in the United States, Roanoke was the one that we preferred and we were lucky to be able to dine there again on Christmas Eve. It was EXCELLENT and the server was fine. A very good place !

Making the reservation was easy and we were seated right away when we arrived. It took a little bit for a server to come at first but the food arrived very soon after we ordered. My salmon was hot and very delicious. My husband had the chicken Parmesan which he said was good but a little cold. I also had the French Alexander drink which was very good! Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience.

At first, we were given the wrong menus and met with much confusion when we tried to order. After repeatedly being told that they "didn't have" any of the items we tried to order, they finally looked at the menu and realized we had the wrong one (we were given lunch instead of brunch - we didn't noticed, since it was 12pm - lunchtime). Fine, no big deal, it happens. We finally place our order off of the correct menu. About ten minutes later, our waitress and someone else, presumably her manager, came out. They were trying to clarify what my husband ordered. The manager insisted that they don't have it, or don't serve it at brunch, it's unclear. We were getting a little frustrated at this point, because after the menu confusion, this was the fourth meal my husband had tried to order only to be told they don't have it/won't make it. He tried to tell them that he ordered it off of the "correct" menu they gave us. The manager got very nasty and demanded that he "point at it on the menu" for her. He does, and she responds, "Of course we have that, why didn't you say that?" Umm... he did. Multiple times. To both you and your waitress, who, I'm guessing, just wrote it down wrong initially. There was confusion among the waitress and the manager about our drink orders, too. It all put a really sour taste in our mouths. The food was fine, nothing special, but good enough. Drinks were mediocre at best. But it was a really unpleasant experience overall.
