                                                                                Food came out cold. Servers were rude. They crowded together tables to accommodate for Christmas crowd but ended up ruining the ambiance.

                                                                                It had lovely ambiance, however very busy, we had to wait and hour for food. Although when it arrived the food was well presented and delicious. I think i would just ask to be placed in seating, where not so many people and staff had to walk and squeeze past our table. This made it less comfortable. 1st time, but would like to go again, with hope to have an overall better experience.

                                                                                The food was outstanding. The anniversary dessert was a thoughtful and tasty touch. Sadly the service was slow (50 minutes after we were seated our food arrived) and seating was cramped.

                                                                                A lovely setting, generally very good but one meal was cold and had to be sent back. We were told after 2hrs they needed the table back which was disappointing as we hadn’t even been offered teas and coffees. We didn’t ask them to hold off with the service so we could sit there and chat so it’s disappointing to be asked to leave. Maybe seating a few less customers at once would give that extra time to finish a meal properly.

                                                                                My meal was quite dry, I had the nut roast , potatoes were particularly dry. The meal arrived very quickly, nice restaurant service good just not overwhelmingly for the money. The Xmas pudding was amazing though 😀just not worth £80

                                                                                My parter and I took my two early 20's children for a Christmas Dinner together. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, we received a warm reception, enjoyed delightful food and wine and received excellent service. Huge compliments to Roast for creating a very special evening.!Highly recommended for any occasion!

                                                                                I would give 0 stars if I could. This place is so overhyped and tries to play fancy but the reality is different. They try to put clients in every free corner and aren't able to manage the chaos. We received our cold main plate only a few minutes after sitting down, but our starters came later. The whole experience felt very stressful and chaotic and people talking around us confirmed that we weren't the only ones with this opinion. Also the main reason why we went was the roast but we never ate such a bad one. Very disappointing...
