Our Christmas Eve dinner at Rocco’s Tacos - Sarasota did not disappoint!! From the initial greeting from the host, being sat on time for our 5pm reservation, to a promptly greeted server, and then some of the best tacos we have ever had were served along with our chips and salsa…and can I say the three salsas were n point! Thank you to the team at Rocco’s Tacos for such a great evening of food and Christmas Lights at UTC - Sarasota!

With each of our visits to Sarasota, Rocco’s is always our first stop and we are there for several days during our visits. The food is absolutely tasty and the guacamole is THE best I have eaten. From the management, servers to the lovely setting you ALWAYS make sure that the best service is provided. Thank you, and until next time, it has been a joy!

We went for dinner then went on horse drawn carriage ride and the service was great good food and we were able to get to our carriage reservation in time!! Roccos always comes thru with good drinks, food, and ambiance!!! Thank you again for a great time!!!!

After being seated and ordering we waited 45 minutes for our food. The waiter came over and said the kitchen "lost our ticket and it would be another 5 minutes". 15 minutes later we got our food.

Everything was perfect!! The nachos were delicious and plentiful. The shrimp tacos were so good. Sitting outside in the cool weather watching the lights and shoppers strolling by was delightful. And finally, our server, Ian, was so attentive and pleasant despite the huge crowd of diners that kept all the servers busy. The evening couldn’t have been better. Kudos to Rocco’s Tacos!

The entrées came at the same time as the appetizer (we took two bites and left the rest) and we never received the drinks from the bar. Disappointing as we usually get a drink before the entrées and a drink during the entrées.

Great service and we loved the environment but the food overall really lacked salt or any type of seasoning. I’ve been to the other Rocco’s locations and was disappointed with the food that came out of this location, just expected better.
