The la carte menu is offered throughout the whole week and a lunch special from Monday to Friday. Consisting of, Italian traditional dishes that make this restaurant a haven for delicious classics. Located only moments away from Glenferrie Road’s shopping district, the classy suburb of Hawthorn is well suited to Rococo. Understandably from the packed crowds, they cater for a variety of individuals and even large quantities of guests. The food and the atmosphere of the restaurant is very good but I’m expecting a restaurant of that quality charging customers $30+ per main meal to follow through on excellent customer service, meaning I don’t want to sit with a dirty dinner plate in front of me for over an hour close to two and not a single staff member/or one of the two managers there not being able to do a single thing, or when I order a second drink I’ll actually expect to receive it, and no follow up actions are done until the very end. The general large size of the restaurant I estimate they had 1 staff member or two helping to manage each section, but it’s more so to do with attention to detail, and not so focused on being slow, customers there deserve great quality service, they have potential is the general sum up. Strangely enough when I went up to pay the manager brought up the missing drink before I had a chance to mention it which was weird, no he didn’t charge us for it but it tells me he knew about the mistake but still didn’t act. We chose the restaurant due to a special occasion, was disappointed the night didn’t live up to our expectations.

Great staff!!! Always friendly and helpful. The food is consistently very good although very expensive compared to other Italian restaurants. $20.50 for a mixed drink is outrageous so we’d never buy wouldn’t do that again! I love that the vegan menu has a lot of options while there’s an extensive menu for others. We always enjoy the food and have been a few times. It’s very loud inside so we’d probably chose outside for next time. It would be great if staff wore name badges. We had a fantastic waitress but forgot to ask her name. This is a special occasion restaurant for us due to the price but we always enjoy the food.

Very nice food, some might be a bit pricey but at the food is good. I had a pizza and it a great size for two or take half home if it's only you.

Always beautiful food at Rococco's, however service was a little off this time round. Maybe staff were new, not sure, but generally they are more welcoming and attend to you better. Might have just been an off night due to the heat.

Rococo Hawthorn was the perfect choice for my Italian mamma’s 89th birthday lunch. The calm ambience created a relaxing and enjoyable setting, and the authentic Italian pastas and pizzas were cooked to perfection. The staff were attentive and warm, going above and beyond to make Mum’s special day unforgettable.
