Food was excellent. Service was extremely well coordinated and paced even on a very busy night. Eric took great care of us! Highly recommend if you want both high quality steak and sushi

Very fusion and a little heavy. We ordered 3 people omakase. I think for the amount and variety of food we received, the value is fine but in terms of tastiness, I would not do it again. I think it’s just because I personally don’t prefer fusion

The service was amazing but some of the worst fish I’ve ever had. There’s so many better sushi restaurants in SF at a much better price point. Don’t waste your time & money here.

Food was not worth the value due to the food was not presented or cooked correctly. The Omakese could have been more refined. It was not as refined as it should be. Grill vegetables was old so it was chewy. The local Wagu beef was tough and hard to chew. On the menu could have stated we can upgrade to Japanese Wagu A5 , so customers can choose. But there are other restaurants that serve for $150 or more pricing and the food might be better.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Roka while celebrating my friend’s birthday on a quiet evening. The wine selection was excellent, and my wagyu filet was perfectly cooked and flavorful. Although they initially forgot to bring out our sashimi appetizer, the server quickly made it right by offering us two complimentary sashimi pieces, which was a nice gesture. They also bought out a surprise (vegan dessert) with a candle, to make the evening extra special for my friend. If you’re looking for good seafood and steaks in the Financial District, I highly recommend Roka!
