The food here seems to be pretty consistently good and a lot of the overall experience varies based on your server. When Esteban has been our server, the meal has gone flawlessly with very pleasant service. This time, the service was less attentive and pleasant, and the meal was less smooth. Several items were prepared differently than requested this visit, and while they were fixed, it was a pain. An ingredient removal was a big issue this visit when it wasn’t previously (a sauce just put on top). Chips are made fresh and they were out at our arrival (totally fine) but it took several requests to get them, and being told they were still out, when we could see other servers delivering them to tables. Several of the servers were also bickering, and loudly talking about one another when we arrived, which felt awkward. Overall, the food is good. The quesadillas, Mexican fried rice, birria tacos, and cheeseburger tacos are very good. After a few visits, I can see why many reviews mention the chicken probably being cooked earlier and held/reheated…no matter what you order with it, it’s so dry. Chips and salsa are good.

Despite having a reservation needed to wait 15+ mins in the reception area while they were "cleaning my table." Service was slow and not very attentive. Had to go to the reception area and ask the hostess to find my waiter. Steak and chicken were overcooked. Drinks ran dry for an extended period of time. Dishes from the appetizers were not cleared and stacked up at the table. The area was very noisy and it was difficult to carry on a conversation with others at the table.

Service was extremely slow and the waitress didn’t listen well when ordering. We usually have no issues so this was surprising.

The food was okay, but the most disappointing part was finding a hair in our margarita. Things happen so we wrote this off - until a second hair was found at the bottom of the bowl the rice came in. We didn’t say anything the second time but the waiter saw it himself and apologized. Would have thought they may have comped something but they didn’t do anything. Shame on us for not asking but needless to say I won’t return.
