Comfortable casual and drenched in Southern charm, the Rose Villa combines its polished easygoing atmosphere with Southern cuisine, classic craft cocktails and an ample selection of Wines. Enjoy Chef Sylvia Kerry Herrera's signature Southern Fried Chicken or her award winning Shrimp and Grits. Each guest that walks through our doors is sure to have a story to tell. Built in in late 1800's Rose Villa was established as a boutique hotel and bed and breakfast in 1901.
The Gazebo is open for cocktails, lunch and dinner during the temperate months. With a relaxing fountain and abundant florals, the Gazebo and back porch seating is a great place to enjoy the Rose Villa. Dogs Welcome!
Upstairs is the Southern Speakeasy, "Whiskey at the Rose" and is making quite a stir among Bourbon aficionados with an array of high end Bourbons. Chef Sylvia has also gotten in on the action offering small plate appetizers and food tastings designed around whiskey and Bourbon during special events.

                                                Such attention to detail regardless of the food selection or the course in which it’s served is rarity even with most high end dining experiences. This place is just consistently one of best in all aspects of dining and price/ value proposition is tops, IMHO!

                                                To start, Patrick the server was the best server I’ve ever had. Funny, nice, kind, attentive, happy, and much more. I went with my mom and a family friend. We all got different items. I had the white bean sauté. Very yummy and filling. While my mom had the lobster mac and cheese. She wished the lobster was not just on top but in the sauce too. The style of the restaurant was very unique and antique without being gaudy. I loved seeing the outdoor holiday decor. Will for sure come back.

                                                Food was absolutely incredible!! We have a reservation for the front porch however, shortly after our server taking our requests, it started to rain. The host and another server quickly made room for us in the downstairs bar area without hesitations. My avocado toast was something dreams are made of. My brother in law is a trained chef and after hearing about our brunch, he will be coming to Rose Villa to join us for brunch.

                                                Such a cute place. We were a group of four & we all enjoyed our food. The service was great. We had some issues that we needed to deal with related to our air travel. And even though, the restaurant was closed between brunch & dinner, they let us sit at our table & work through a strategy. They were so accommodating. Thank you.

                                                We sat on the front porch. It made for an interesting perch! Some car noise but not enuf to be a detriment. Our waitress Molly was knowledgeable about the menu and was a joy to have take care of us. The food was excellent, we had the fried chicken and the chicken statler. Would definitely go back and have the same again! Although as good as those dishes were, we should try something else as I think it would be great too. After we left we saw that there was music out on back porch so that’s my spot next time. A great find, wonderful ambience.

                                                My wife and I ordered the Seabass they asked how I would like it cooked they said the chef recommended medium never in my life have I ever been asked how I want my Seabass cooked but OK. We were given such tiny portions it was like eating an appetizer, plus the fish came out fleshy and Raw. When I made mention of it to our waitress she gave us such a look of are you crazy but OK again we sent it back and my wife when her portion came out it looked like it was half of The original piece. A note to the manager you should never tell your servers to call people honey that is not professional. Also if you give bread dishes you should put Bread on the table. For a $40 Seabass that comes out cold and raw I say shame on you

                                                Great meal today and the biscuits were even hot today!! Our waitress was excellent made sure that our biscuits were served hot and the meal delivered in a timely manner!! Great experience today! Hats off to everyone involved!!
