ῥοῦς (Rous) epitomizes the story of a dream to give Cyprus a fine dining experience deeply rooted in Cyprus’s history.

We did not wish to reproduce any fine dining restaurant abroad. Our vision? To create dishes inspired by the plethora of cultures that have left their mark within the culinary habits of the Cypriot people, while elevating them to the standards of a fine dining restaurant.

The name ῥοῦς (Rous) encapsulates the concept of the restaurant. It is written in ancient Greek which translates to modern Greek as "flow", "current". The name reflects the owners’ aim to delineate the origins of their dishes, influenced by the flow of conquerors of Cyprus, who left in their passing their mark on our cooking traditions.

Food was delicious and fresh. The service was excellent and they made us a very good introduction of each plate as well as suggestions. Overall well worth the pricetag.

A true culinary feast. The food was an art of work. Exquisite service from everybody. Ideal for a romantic dinner. Our compliments to the chef.

Truly excellent array of dishes using Cypriot products in a unique and very tasty array of dishes, small and large. Very pricey, but overall the food is really worth it. Bravo to the chef(s) at Rous.

Excellent restaurant and really good service - a great place for super and different food, lovely environment and a special evening out. 2nd time we have been and will go again for sure

An experience of a Michelin restaurant but with half the price. All plates are a work of art. The atmosphere is very nice and the service excellent. Vaso the waitress who explains all plates, George the other waiter, Antreas the manager and lastly the shef Triantafillos with whom we had a long chat were all very professional and polite. I can highly recommend this place and advice everybody to give it a try without second thought.

Excellent dining experience: great food and wine, fantastic staff, really nice ambience. Our group of three ladies loved it! We’ll be back.

A really beautiful experience. The food, the service and the atmosphere all absolutely lovely. We really enjoyed the evening and would come back again and again.
