Welcome to Roy's Ka'anapali! Since opening "the original" Roy's Hawaii Kai in 1988, I have set out to explore "new directions," blending classic European cooking techniques with unique influences of Asia and the Pacific. We have eaten at many Roy’s but it has been awhile..We have always remembered the experiences to have been very positive not so such this time. The food was still excellent . The restaurant was under staffed. Which didn’t allow our server to be as attentive as she should’ve been. It wasn’t her fault..For a higher end restaurant we were disappointed with the service of restaurant not our server..She was very nice but was running around bussing tables filling water glasses for many tables It shouldn’t be like that for the price of eating there.

Excellent food and service! The best mixed plate lunch special on the island. Our server, Junior, was very attentive and friendly. Thank you, Roy’s. We will be back soon!!! Mahalo

Our meals were disappointing. We had two fish dishes and a ribeye. First dish was dry and overcooked. Flavors were bland. And I was so looking forward to it as we went here three times last year and it was delicious. New chef? Just a bad night? I don’t know.

Dined at Roy's with my husband and two children tonight. It's located on a golf course. The views are nothing noteworthy, but the service and food were top notch. I really like the prefixed "keike" menu. It came with an appetizer, choice of entree, and ice cream. Much to the delight of my children, the appetizer came right away. The server was very attentive. I had the butterfish and my husband had the short rib. Both dishes were delicious. We also shared the chocolate ganache cake and chocolate toffee cake. We enjoyed both desserts. Roy's never disappoints.

Roy’s is always a great dining experience when you’re in Maui. The shot rib seafood and filet were all outstanding choices of ours. Don’t miss it when in town.

Possibly one of the worst experiences all around. Horrible service, mediocre food, and watered down drink. Do yourself a favor and do not go. It’s sad, because Roy’s at one time was an island favorite of ours, it has sadly declined to an over priced dennys.
