    Was very disappointed in the whole evening at S&L Langely. The food was not hot when it arrived to start off with and the taste was nothing extraordinary. The service however was disgraceful. We did not even see our waitress for at least 15 minutes at one point. She forgot to bring us the desert menu and we finally got frustrated and left without. The atmosphere and the decor were good but we were just so disappointed with the service that we left feeling extremely let down. We wont go back!

    Four of us went for New Year. We all had something different to eat and all the steaks were awesome and cooked to perfection. Service was above and beyond. Will definitely be back.

    We were celebrating our 10 year Wedding anniversary and not only was the food sub par (we had hardened batter from another dish in our meal and was told that just happens because they use the same bowl for various appies) but our service wasn't that great either. Nothing was done to make us feel special on this night, even after we told our server what we were celebrating. At the bare minimum they could have remembered to say Happy Anniversary at the end of our night. Both our main meals were good - the salmon bowl is delicious. Overall disappointing and not sure we'll return.

    I’ve had the Seafood Chop Chop seafood salad in the past and was different/better but I was very diasapointed with it this time. Made with iceberg lettuce that was soggy and drenched in dressing, there was literally 2 prawns and just a few thinly sliced pieces of salmon and that was it for seafood. Didn’t quite live up to its name.

    Live music on Saturdays. I would avoid it next time. Really ruins it for me. Quite good food and service otherwise, although the food used to be better. Still OK.

    S&L Langley boasts a vibrant atmosphere with friendly staff. The food, however, wasn't as good as I remember. The calamari with rice flour was excellent, albeit small. My wagu carpaccio excellent save for the extremely small serving of crostini (so many holes I had virtually nothing to serve as a base for my wagu beef). My husband's Miso Salmon was overcooked to the point of dryness. Having made numerous trips to Peru, I can honestly say the Pisco Sours were flat and certainly lacking the punch of a 'made-in-Peru' specialty. Seems S&L Langley might want to pay a bit more attention to their end product!
