The team behind the Carbone restaurants that are now dazzling Dallas isn’t just about Italian. Their sparkling Sadelle’s in Highland Park Village is a New York deli — but hardly your typical one, which is why it stands out. Smoked salmon and sturgeon and deli sandwiches? Sure. But breakfast tacos, caviar, and Asian skirt steak, too.

Sadelle’s is a modern ode to New York’s classic tradition of all-day dining. Since opening its first location in the heart of SoHo in 2016, the brand has reached iconic status thanks to its urbane, celebratory atmosphere and a menu of hits, including the best bagels in America. Among its many accolades, Sadelle’s was named an essential brunch destination by Harper’s BAZAAR and Cosmopolitan, and its sticky buns were ranked one of the Best Dishes of 2015 by The New York Times. Sadelle’s currently has outposts in New York, Las Vegas, Miami, Paris, Boca Raton, and Dallas. The restaurant is named after MFG Co-Founder Jeff Zalaznick’s great grandmother.

I’ve been there several times for brunch and it’s great. Unfortunately, it seems as though the B team is on the night shift. The waiter didn’t know the menu, kept offering things we couldn’t eat, after we were asking for Gluten Free options, denied us to get a water craft, because he said his manager would get upset, yet was not ok top of refilling the water. The wait time was very long. We had to ask for the check twice. A while later we just stood up and were actively looking for the waiter to pay. We asked for medium rare burger, the patties were incredibly hard. It was disappointing, as I wanted my husband to try this place since I go for brunch often.

Perfect brunch place for the girlfriends to get together! The mimosa's were fabulous and perfectly portioned plates with terrific pastries!

I went here for my birthday and the overall experience was just okay I feel like our waiter Kevin wasn’t attentive to our table at all. And given the price point of the food I was expecting better service multiple times our water glasses ran empty and we had to ask other employees to grab our waiter …. I tipped 20% though he didn’t deserve it.at the end of it I was ready to go Based on this experience I wouldn’t return . My food was good though French toast is worth the price.

Not too busy during dinner time. Overall good experience, the mashed potatoes could be better (tasted bland).

Restaurant was almost empty on a Friday night. We should have paid attention to this red flag. Service was slow and food very mediocre. I ordered grilled Branzino. It was overcooked and dry. My wife liked her fried shrimp and tuna melt but we will not go back again.

Always a classic. Fun brunch but can get loud. Staff did a great job. However The 2 doors (one front and the one on the side where hostess is) is confusing and entering diners end up wandering through seated customers.
