                                                                    It was a very crowded night. I was surprised I was able to get a reservation 15 minutes before we arrived. The service was very slow, but it was not the waitresses fault. I think there were too many people for the Service staff to handle. We waited an hour to get two pasta dishes without any protein. Once the food arrived. It was very good, but it was a long wait. We were put in small room on the right and it was very tight. I don’t think they should keep accepting reservations if they don’t have the help to be efficient.

                                                                    We can never fault the food at Sal and Pepe's it is always delicious and filling. However, we feel the side room, where we were seated, is cold, completely without atmosphere, crowded and loud. Unfortunately, the night we were there, one poor waitress was trying to serve all the tables. We did not get served in the order we were seated which was annoying. She was doing her best but we think with all the awards the restaurant receives, it could afford more wait staff.

                                                                    One of the best restaurants around! Consistently delicious food, great service and fun drinks. Their vodka sauce is outstanding, and I also love their Chicken Parm and Chicken Francese.

                                                                    It's a very charming restaurant quiet and lovely The staff is very pleasant in the food was delicious we couldn't have had a better Valentine's dinner Saturday night instead of Friday

                                                                    8pm on Valentines Day. Restaurant was fully booked. Seated at around 8:15. Everything there is top notch, as was the service on this very busy day. Nona’s Sunday Supper is a must have, pear salad, fried oysters as an app were to die for. Beef Wellington was superb. Accompanied by a great bottle of wine and finish with pistachio cream pie with a cappuccino. Many restaurants will be so busy at this time that service, meals, cuts of meat can feel lacking. Sal e Pepe hit the mark on all counts. As with any top notch restaurants, there is a premium in price, but this place is not to be missed.
