We booked a dinner here with friends to enjoy the Marina Del Rey Christmas Boat Parade, and overall, it was a great experience. The table location was excellent, and as always, the ambiance with the marina view was hard to beat. Despite the chilly evening, the restaurant provided plenty of lawn heaters to keep us warm and comfortable. The food was delicious, though there was a hiccup with my partner’s order of the pork ragu—it was never served due to a mix-up. Fortunately, we had already enjoyed the lobster bisque, which was rich and flavorful, along with crispy French fries as a side. My braised short ribs were perfectly cooked, tender, and generously portioned, so it was easy to share. For dessert, we opted for the bread pudding, which was warm, comforting, and a perfect way to end the meal. While we loved the evening, we weren’t able to get a full view of the boat parade from our table. Lesson learned—we’ll plan differently next time if watching the parade is a priority. Parking was convenient with valet service, and the $10 validation for 4 hours was a nice perk. Overall, it was a lovely evening with great food and good company. Apart from the one-off mistake with the order, the service was attentive, and everyone in our group had a fantastic time. We’ll definitely be back!

The food was severely underwhelming & not worth the value paid. I ordered a side of mac & cheese and it should hardly be considered that. The decor seemed like it was out of a Miami diner in the 1980s & it was very loud. No one kept their conversations at their table. There’s no reason that I shouldn’t be able to hear my party speaking at my table. Our waiter did not tend to us properly; only getting us water & dropping off our food. He also kept my friend’s credit card & she had to ask for it back. We will not be returning. This restaurant is in a prime location & it saddens me that it was wasted on an establishment like this.

Overall ambiance and service were superb. The scones were not that good. In addition, other high tea places offer gluten free scones.

One of my best friends now lives in the Midwest so when she is in town we are excited to see each other. We wanted to have a nice brunch together and she needed to be in the Marina afterwards so the obvious choice was SALT. The food was delicious, the service very professional, and the setting let us enjoy the fresh air, boats and seagulls.

The setting by the Marina is beautiful. The service was excellent and the seafood tower was delicious and very fresh. Definitely enjoy frequenting there for dinner or even for just their Happy Hour.
