The duck and waffles was -bewilderingly- good and I wish I had the recipe. It's a shame they only serve it as a holiday special.

We were at Salt Wood for the 9:00 PM NYE seating. There was a DJ and our table was near the dance floor so the atmosphere was fun and lively. The food and portions were excellent and the service was friendly and thorough. The mocktail was super sweet and the sparkling wine list was very limited but overall it was a really great experience!

Brunch menu was perfect, as was all of the food ordered. Great ambiance, outstanding service, and definitely enjoyed both food and drink. Looking forward to coming back for the dinner menu!

Food was average at best. Under-salted and lacking flavor. Odd presentations and /or poorly executed plates. Service was stilted and a bit unprofessional. Restaurant was beautiful but loud and wasn’t even busy.

Andy was excellent, his suggestions were spot on. The food was outstanding. Chefs Nestor and Alex along with their team are serving up delicious and creative food.

The food was hit or miss. The risotto was terrible and the minionette was horrible. But the short rib was great and sides were excellent.

Amazing service from start to finish beginning at the hostess stand. We never had to worry about whether our server was coming back to check on us, he also had an assistant server who cleared plates and checked in on us as well. (The check in’s were not overbearing). Food was phenomenal, we had the 14h NY strip, clams, oysters, olive bread & sea salt and a bottle of Daou Cab. Great ambiance, cool setting - there is even a display of oysters on the wall with rocks behind a metal bar caging. The bathroom also had a unique approach to soap- used an essential oil infused salt! Highly recommended and will definitely return on our next trip to Monterey!
