This is a great place for a family gathering of 5 adults and 5 little kids. Meals are generous ( but it’s still pub food) and prices are reasonable. We beat the crowd by booking for 11:30 and leaving a couple of hours later. I think the vast kids area could contain a few swings or monkey bars to keep the little ones better occupied although chasing soccer balls, playing tag and climbing trees seemed to work. Only complaint is that despite booking the table and receiving numerous confirmation emails (including this one), the venue had no record of my booking!!

Delicious food and accommodate allergies well, including for Coeliac Disease. Can bit a bit noisy in the bar area, and cold if doors are left open, but the fireplace warms the area up again. Plenty of heaters in the large beer garden.

Food was lovely, presentation looked lovely Compliment to all who worked hard in the kitchen to Prep and cook the meals . Meals came out in a timely manner.

Meals were delicious , drinks are not over priced like some other hotels and staff were friendly. As we left all staff we passed said good night. Overhead heater were great

Another great experience, for Mother’s Day this time. A bit busier and noisier than usual but that is to be expected, and did not detract. Food service was surprisingly quick.

This is the second time my husband and I have been to the Samford Hotel. The food is delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

calamari good, schnitzel, bought in unfortunately the crumb coating falls of the slither of chicken. Pork belly enough for 2 people was the best dish. Barra special, please remove the pin bones so your customers lessen the chances of choking on them. overcooked, maybe 140 - 160 grms piece for $40 great GP, not a great customer experience. will come again but wont stray from steak and chips
